Описание

Here is the recipe for my much-requested Healthy Roti (Flatbread): The combination of amaranth with another flour raises the protein quotient of this recipe, making it excellent for weight loss.

The proportions I use are: 70% Amaranth (Rajgeera) combined with 30% of any other flour for the Roti (Flatbread).
The amaranth flour takes time to bind and may get sticky (practice makes you perfect).
Roll flat and cook like you make your regular rotis.

You can also prepare an Amaranth roti stuffed with Fenugreek (Methi).
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS (4 rotis)
1/2 small katori wheat (or any other gluten-free flour if gluten intolerant)
1 small katori amaranth flour
2 fistfuls of fenugreek leaves, washed and chopped
Pinch of caraway seeds
Pinch of salt
¼ tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp red chilli powder

METHOD
1. Roll it into a dough and do not use much water as fenugreek leaves will leave water as well
2. Add fenugreek leaves to the dough
3. Roll into flat bread
4. Finish by cooking the way you would cook your regular chapatis
